Director of Finance
About this position:
Our Director of Finance will be tasked with developing and growing our financial operations, setting and reaching targets, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, understanding the strategy and requirements of the business and working to drive growth.
This is an executive level opportunity at a growing startup with the ability to shape the strategic direction and performance of the company. This role will be largely independent in it’s decision making but will report directly to the senior management team. He/she will plan, control and implement all things finance including, but not limited to: accounting and finance, corporate finance, treasury, forecasting, tax, compliance, audit, and business development.
Responsibilities:
- Fortnightly payroll
- Onboarding new employees into payroll system
- Monthly financial reporting
- Quarterly financial reporting and board presentation
- Help raising capital again
- Maintain investor relations and transparency with team
- Forecast models for products
- Manage customer contracts and billing

You Need:
- An awesome sense of humor
- Experience partnering with an executive team
- An MBA in finance and/or CPA accounting designation with an accounting heavy background
- Sound written and verbal communication skills
- 5+ years in progressively responsible financial leadership roles
- Experience in an entrepreneurial / chaotic / rapid growth environment
